PAKISTAN JOURNAL OF CARDIOVASCULAR & THORACIC SURGERY is a peer reviewed journal.
It started in 2002 on quarterly basis as official journal of Pakistan Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgeons.
The journal adopted both online and print versions in January 2018. The new PJCVTS has increased its frequency to bi-monthly.

The Editorial Board of the journal works in close collaboration with the Management Council of Pakistan Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons.
The PJCVTS follows the policy of Open Access. All articles published in PJCVTS are therefore permitted for unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited includimg the complete list of authors names and journal reference.
